Sonic the Hedgehog 2: Painto Edition is a ROM hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 created by Team Painto.
General information[]
The planned zones for the first release are:
- Sunset Hill Zone (Emerald Hill)
- Green Forest Zone (Wood)
- Hidden Palace Zone
- Sky Fortress Zone (Sky Chase Zone is Act 1 and Wing Fortress Zone is Act 2)
- E.G.G. Station Zone (Death Egg Zone)
Is also planned to edit Special Stages and art.
The project is also planned to contain Welcome and Intro screens, Main Menu, and a character select screen. In future installments, a save feature is planned to be added in.
Characters[]
S2:PE is going to contain 3 playable characters and 5 playable teams to choose (each character alone, Sonic & Tails and Knuckles and Tails)
